Policies

The fine print.

Short, clear, and fair. If anything's unclear, just ask.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel 72 or more hours before your trip and receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations inside 72 hours forfeit the deposit unless the trip is rescheduled. Weather cancellations called by the captain are always rebooked or fully refunded.

Deposit Policy

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due in cash or card at the dock before departure.

Safety Guidelines

All guests must wear Coast Guard-approved life jackets when the captain advises. Closed-toe shoes recommended. No glass on board. The captain reserves the right to refuse or end a trip for safety reasons (weather, intoxication, or unsafe behavior) without refund.

Liability Disclaimer

Fishing and boating carry inherent risks. By booking a charter, all guests acknowledge these risks and release Catch & Eat Charters, its captain, and crew from liability for personal injury, lost property, or damages to the extent permitted by law. A full liability waiver will be provided to sign before departure. [Placeholder — replace with attorney-reviewed text before going live.]

Children & Minors

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who signs the liability waiver on their behalf.

Fish Limits

All catches are kept within Texas Parks & Wildlife size and bag limits. Out-of-limit fish are released. Fishing licenses are the responsibility of each guest 17 and older.
